Research was born within the Dermosfera Group, an Italian company based in Bologna founded over 40 years ago by the Alfonso family. For generations a leader in the professional cosmetics sector, Dermosfera built its know-how first as a distributor of international excellence and then - in the last 10 years - as a direct producer of high-performance cosmetic solutions.

An evolution driven by scientific research, advanced experimentation, and constant dialogue with the clinical and medical-aesthetic world. A path that led to a key question: is it possible to develop professional treatments and formulas that do not merely improve the appearance of the skin, but modify its biological processes and mechanisms?

From this question, Research is born.

About us

In 2025, from the shared vision of the Alfonso family - still leading the Group today - Research takes shape: not a simple brand, but a scientific project of skin re-education, dedicated to the study of skin biology and its advanced cosmetological application.

Research is the clinically inspired soul of the Dermosfera Group. A team of cosmetologists, researchers, and formulators working toward a specific goal: to develop integrated dermaceutical systems, combining professional treatments and homecare solutions, designed to interact directly with the skin's biological mechanisms.
